• Thredbo Freeride Series - Ridercross. 3 August The third event of the Thredbo Freeride Series competition (skier and boardercross).
  
  
• Top To Bottom race. 7 August Thredbo's annual Top To Bottom race is Australia's longest downhill race with over $18,000 in cash and prizes to be won. Entry is open to professional and amatuer skiers and snowboarders.
  
  
• Senior Interclub Race. 7 August Senior members of Thredbo's ski clubs compete for glory in the Interclub Races.
  
  
• Thredbo Masters Race. 14 August A traditional style race for those over 30 years of age.
  
  
• Rip Curl Australian Freeride Pro - Thredbo Freeride Series. 17 - 19 August Australia's best skiers and snowboarders come together for a unique slopestyle event. Also the fourth event in the Thredbo Freeride Series.
  
  
• Thredbo Pro-Am Race. _ 21 - 22 August_ This fun event is a fundraiser for Disabled Wintersport Australia and the Thredbo Early Childhood Centre.
  
  
• NSW Interschools Championships - State Titles . 26 - 29 August Successful school teams from the regional Interschools compete for places at the National Championships.

• Thredbo Freeride Series - Grand Final. 4 September The final event in the Thredbo Freeride Series - the huge grand final to determine who will be crowned overall series winner.
  
  
• One Hit Wonder Down Under. 14 - 17 September The One Hit Wonder Down Under is a four day filming session on Thredbo's end of season booter, with the skier and snowboarder receiving the most public votes for their crowd pleasing trick scoring a cash sweetener.
