How do you create a magazine for Australian skiers? Every year we ask ourselves who these Aussie snow sliders are and what they want to find between the pages of Australia's definitive ski magazine.

This year there were some happenings in the snow world that we were stoked to delve into. Our cover-kid, Sean Pettit, seen by many as the greatest skier in the world, turned out to be an articulate interview subject - we'll keep watching his star rise. Another rising star, Russell Henshaw, the Jindabyne kid with claim to the second ever triple cork who caught up with us from Norway where he was preparing to film with Matchstick Productions.

Because someone had to, we tripped over to the USA to sample the La Nina-charged bumper season - and take advantage of some good exchange rates! The result, a road trip story through Utah, Wyoming and Colorado that should inspire you to get yourself over there ASAP. On the topic of snow, we reflect on Awesome August, the amazing Aussie snow month in 2010 with a photo spread showcasing the best of our resorts and our home grown talent.

And of course there's our annual buyers' guide, this year featuring a story on the Australian One Ski Quiver - the best skis for Australian conditions.
