I HEART WNTR - No Boarding Session at Guthega 3rd of August 2009
Share |

Snowboarding without bindings is the closest thing to surfing you can do on the snow. "No-Boarding" as it's called, relies on fresh untracked powder and is gaining huge popularity across North America and Europe where deep snow is common. Burton even now make a specific "No-Board" that has a grip pad on top of the snowboard that replaces bindings.

In this episode of I Heart Winter, the Burton crew head out the back of Guthega resort in Australia to give No-boarding ago just after a snow storm.

This could be the first ever No-Boarding Session in Australia.
