ON THE GROUND REPORT

Mon June 25, 6.30am: A clear cold morning with a temp inversion and it is -7.3 in the valley and -12.7 at the top of Mount P, the wind a light westerly at 11km/hr.  32 lifts open, accessing a good cover of dry packed snow across the four resort areas, best early for some turns on the groomed while the snow is dry and chalky off piste on a hard-packed base. Looks like a change with snow showers up high on Wednesday night and the Grasshopper is calling the chance of some snow next weekend.  Not a lot in it, but check out his latest forecast for all the details. Have a great day. – Reggae
