About SoO AirTime
A brand new event for 2010, SoO AirTime is a series of video-based freeride competitions for the Australian snowfields.
The concept is the brain-child of Watkin and Oscar McLennan. Bolstered by a passion for airtime and an annoyance at the less-than-inspired crop of freeride events in Victoria, they started their own. Enter SoO AirTime 2010 and Open Edit 2010.
SoOAirTime – 31 Aug – 2 Sept @ Mt Buller
We take the best riders from Victoria and NSW and team them with our nation’s most creative videographers, pitting the teams in a State-of-origin battle at Mt Buller. Each team crafts a video across the three days from Tuesday 31st August til Thursday September 2nd. The vids are posted online here. You vote from Sunday September 5th til Friday 17th to decide which State reigns supreme. There are heaps of prizes for voters, so don’t miss the chance to have your say.
The Open Edit
The Open Edit is a grassroots video contest for everyone who boards or skis. Whether you’re the next crew of up-and-comers from Thredbo, or a larrikin who rides weekends at Buller, the Open Edit is for you.
Make a clip showcasing your 2010 Australian adventure, holiday, weekend or season, and post it online through SoOAirTime.com to win. The video with the most votes from 1st til 17th Sept takes home the glory. The amazing prizes include trips to Japan, skis, boards, and loads of other gear. So start now!
