The Carlton Dry Snow Collective is a stunning documentary film that takes audiences on a global adventure with adrenaline-fueled skiers and snowboarders as they challenge themselves on the biggest mountains in Europe, USA and to the wilds of Alaska.

The film follows a handful of snow athletes as they make a northern hemisphere winter journey preparing for the World Heli Challenge in the Southern Alps of New Zealand. Join them on their annual pilgrimage through the iconic snow destinations and big mountains of Chamonix France, Jackson Hole Wyoming and the soaring peaks of Alaska.

The Carlton Dry Snow Collective brings together the breath-taking action, sweeping locations and the drama audience expect in a ski movie but also gives a window into the personal side to skiers and boarders' lives. Audiences see the incredible feats they pull on the slopes with true insight into why they do it, how it feels and what drives them to push life and their sport to the very limits.

These are young athletes who go to extraordinary lengths to excel in their chosen sport, who sleep on floors, travel for days to chase a snow storm, who spend weeks and months away from family and friends and do things that scare them, regularly. They are part of a global community, a snow collective.

The movie features 2011 World Heli Challenge Champions Sam Smoothy, Janina Kuzma and Anne Enderud, top place getters Fraser McDougall, Aussie legend Chris Booth, 'Young Gun' Mitch Reeves, up and coming international star Lucas Swiekowlski, Olympic medallist and 2 X World Boarder Cross Champion Ueli Kestinholz, Sandy Lahnsteiner, and a host of talent from Australia, New Zealand and around the world.

The film is the creation of Tony "Harro" Harrington who has been photographing and filming extreme snow and surf for more than 25 years around the world. He is also the founder and director of the destination of the film, the World Heli Challenge competition in Wanaka New Zealand.

The World Heli Challenge is both their destination and what connects the athletes in the film. The World Heli Challenge is a grassroots, extreme skiing and boarding event that brings top athletes from all corners of the globe for a two week festival of helicopter-accessed big mountain competition.

The Carlton Dry Snow Collective is an exciting addition to the snow movie genre. This newcomer has already been made an "Official Selection" of the IF3 Film Festival in Montreal Canada, Annecy France and Innsbruck Austria later this year and is just the first of a trilogy rolling out to 2014.
