Q: How often does the Australian snowboard community shred together without the pressure of a competition? A. Not enough. Q: Where is the best park in the Southern Hemisphere at the moment? A. Thredbo. Q: So why not all get together to ride the best park in the country without a competition? A:... This Sunday, September 9, get a half price Thredbo ticket to come shred with the community. It's going to be rad.

The plan for Sunday In The Park is simple: show up to Thredbo, pick up your half price pass, cruise up to the Anton's park and join in the fun. There'll be Australia's top riders, the Thredbo terrain park crew, top Aussie juniors and plenty of all round nice guys. There'll be food, music and good company. There'll be filmers and photographers. No doubt, there'll be some next level riding in amongst plenty of cruising. It's a day you don't want to miss.

The Thredbo Terrain Parks are in fine form at the moment. I had a chat to Charles Beckinsale about the park for Sunday...

TRANSFER: Hey Charles, what is on offer for Sunday in the Park this weekend?

CB: We've got the new A-frame wall ride rail which is a new feature we've built. The jumps are 35ft, 40ft, 45ft, about 65ft and a new 50ft step up. We'll probably throw in a down lift tower tube and maybe a pole jam as well depending on this new snow.

TRANSFER: What about the other two parks, Merritts and High Noon?

CB: Merritts has the most features it has ever had. And High Noon is an alternative jib-land. I'm pretty stoked with the way it is all set up right now.

Alright, so that's the deal: get up to Thredbo and get snowboarding with your friends this Sunday.
