Ben Lomond National Park covers an area of 16,527 hectares (40,772 acres), and boasts the island's second-highest peak, Legges Tor, which is 1,572 metres (5,147 feet) above sea level. The village road is the highest in Tasmania and at its end reaches an elevation of 1460 metres. \\ Ben Lomond ski resort is Tasmania's premier ski resort that offers spectacular alpine scenery within the Ben Lomond National Park.
