Australia’s snowboarding wondergirl Torah Bright married fellow American shredder Jake Welch in Utah, USA. Louie Vito was there and snapped this while Peter line was also there and twittered “Dry wedding? Psyc!!! Multiple Flasks in pockets. Congrats Jake and Torah”. While Torah’s brother and coach Ben Bright is back at his new house at the base of Snow Park and Cardrona, his place has a mini-ramp and a new mini-putt putt course designed like a snowboard park.

Ryan Tiene wants to play “Words with Friends”, just look for the name Tiene and Clint Allan always has to be somewhere. Jake Koia moved into a new apartment in Queenstown and bought a new vacuum. Ben Fawcett is the latest to join Charles Beckinsale’s army as a Thredbo park digger, does Thredbo media know the quality of their park staff? Maybe they have just found out about the quality features Charles has planned. Tom Pelley liked the song “Holiday in Cambodia” so much that he started the season off by going on a holiday to Cambodia after winning the 3-Bills Rail jam at Erina. While the good-looking population has been increased by one with Robbie Walker and long time girlfriend Alice having a little boy by the name of Seb. Everyone who is anyone these days has a blog and you can now add Alex “Chumpy” Pullin to that list. Mitch Williams has joined the worlds largest shop team and signed on with Ballistyx, is there anyone they don’t have?

In international news, some guy landed a triple cork while others thought about it . There is a strong rumor that 3 big time internationals will be hitting up the winter wonderland that is Tasmania this season, while K2 maybe going back in time and sign Travis Parker back to the team. Also teaser time has kicked off with the Forum guys dropping the teaser to there latest film F’ It

While in photographer news Jake Mcbride and family have moved from the hustle and bustle of NYC to the hustle and bustle of Manly with his 3rd kid on the way. Dan Himbrechts is all over Twitter so follow him for updates and general rants. Transfer staff photographer and art director J-Mac is finally back in the water after a serious surfing accident that kept him on the couch this summer and away from the Northern Winter. Vaughan Brookfield has a new site and blog that is worth checking out at vaughanbrookfield.com .

The guys that kicked life into the board shorts world are trying their hand at snow outerwear with the launch of Rhythm Snow in Europe. Aussie photographer Lee Ponzio will never be late again now importing Alive Athletics watches. Burton Australia has a new NSW rep in the form of Linc Jarvis after long time Rep Clint Shirvington decided to live the dream at Cherri Pow for one more season before relocating north. Jaryd Heslop is now the guy at Future Sport to contact for Rome, Nomis, Drake and Tech Nine. Quiksilver has taken control of the sales and distribution of Lib Tech and Gnu brands (which they own) here in Australia. First Tracks in Jindabyne has relocated into what used to be the front half of the Rebel store in Nuggets Crossing, Jindabyne, after Rebel decided to leave the snow party after last season. Former kiwi shredder, now Whistler local Anthony Leffelaar has his own headwear company called Vivo and is available in Australia via Silver distribution. The guys over at the Rhythm Snow Sports have added a couple more brands to their distribution network including Compatriot Snowboards, the board of choice for OG snowboarders Kevin Jones and Rob Kingwill, and everyone’s favorite snowboard accessory Air Hole facemasks. Rumour has it that KJ is back with a full part in the upcoming Standard Films movie that will hopefully feature a killer part from Aussie Ryan Tiene too.

Speaking of films, the premiere tour of Made you Look – the all Aus and Kiwi snowboard film has kicked off to 400+ people in Queenstown. There are 9 stops on the premiere tour. The Australian premieres start this Thursday in Melbourne at The Station.
