Here’s a quick preview of the goodness.

The Cover

Abby Lockhart lives in Wanaka, New Zealand and rips harder than most boys. This beautiful cover shot of Abby popping a tail grab to fakie is on the side of the Sea To Sky Highway in Whistler Canada. The image is both stylish and gnarly, representing strongly the current movement in women’s snowboarding internationally.
We are more than stoked to have Abby on page 1. Congrats Abby!

48 NYC

Spend 48 hours with Australia’s most exciting young rider Jye Kearney as he staff photographer Jake McBride explore and snowboard the streets of the Big Apple.

The Convicts & The Snowboard

We take a retrospective photo journey through snowboarding in Australia. We’ve spent four months gathering two decades worth of incredible images and then handed the microphone to the riders themselves to allow the past to speak to the present.

Cracking The Dam

The DC team spent three days meticulously sessioning the infamous Guthega Dam in the Snowy Mountains of Australia. Transfer tagged along and documented the craziest session of snowboarding the dam may ever see.

The Hungry And The Homeless

Robbie Walker and Nate Johnstone are simultaneously proving that there is no blue print design for a rise onto the international snowboard scene. They both are carving their own unique path, one filming and one destroying the halfpipe competition scene.

Rockstars In Retreat

Four days in an exclusive cat-boarding retreat in the middle of British Columbia. Island Lake Lodge founded by legendary snowboarder Craig Kelly, plays luxuries host and lays out the red carpet for our typical punk-arse pro snowboard crew. A clash was immanent.

Check out this insane ad from Burton that is also in this issue.
It is real… And a set-up that was made at Northstar resort in Tahoe, USA during spring for the filming of their new Movie: “The B”.

When we asked Australian Burton Team Manager Chris Boadle about the movie this is what we got:
“Burton have hired Brad Kremer of ex Mack Dawg fame to head up their team movie this year. It features the entire Burton team and this year is going to be the biggest yet. When Mack Dawg finished making movies Brad was looking for a project and it was the same time Burton were making a huge investment into their team movies. Just like skateboarding, the best movies should be team movies.”
