The 2009 World Heli-Challenge was the return of one of the all-time greatest snow events. Not only is it in our own backyard (NZ) but it also scored incredible snow and a fleet of the worlds best skiers and boarders showed up and ripped the mountains apart.
The event is held over 3 heli-accessed days encompassing Freeride, Downhill and Big Mountain days. They footage and story the event had this year is incredible and well worth a watch.
