Located in the stunning alps of the South Island in New Zealand, visitors from around the world are drawn to the Wanaka region by its outstanding natural beauty. The town of Wanaka is smaller and more relaxed compared to Queenstown, however still has plenty of bars and restaurants to keep you busy when not on the slopes.
Matterhorn South Lodge is a unique locally owned lodge in the heart of Wanaka. The rooms sleep 4 and each have their own private en-suite. There is a comfortable TV lounge, board games and a cosy gas fire for those winter nights. The lodge also includes a spacious kitchen, outdoor bbq area, washing facilities, drying room and waxing table.
