Hey everyone,

just a quick update from the snowboard World Cup tour so far....

I just flew into East Coast Canada from Europe... it's been a fun last couple of weeks with some sick competitions, weather and results.

The first week of the month we were in Bad Gastein, Austria, the course there is usually pretty gnarly and this year wasn't any different. After qualifying sixth, me and team mate Damon Hayler, ended up riding together in the same heat from first round onwards. Unlucky, when there's only two of us amongst the 32 qualifiers... but we battled through the heat together which was super fun... I ended up 10th at the end of the day....

After that we headed across to Veysonnaz, Switzerland we were greeted by a sick blue bird day in the massive Swiss mountains. We took the opportunity to ride all day until lift closed.

Competition went well there, with mostly good weather and a super fast, tech course. I got a solid qualifier in and lined up in the first heat against world champ, Markus Schairer and sbx legend Drew Neilson. After having some sick battles with those boys, I took the win in that heat and rode to win in the small final later, finishing up in 5th place. Unfortunately, a few things didn't fall into place for me that day as I would have liked to continued my momentum into the final, ultimately for a podium, but it wasn't to be... but still another strong result under my belt as well as keeping my world ranking inside the top 10, sitting in 7th. I cant complain, it only makes me more hungry for the next events, which for now is here in Quebec, in just a few days...
