If videos of skiing, boarding and snow-falling get you pumped like they do us, then you’ve come to the right place!

Introducing a new portal for lovers of snow-based motion picture. Here you have a choice between watching/submitting your very best snow related short films via ‘Mountainwatcher’s’, our inaugural short film competition. Or, you can take a look through our new ‘Clip Of The Week’ page and enter your own submissions via Instagram with #Mountainwatchthis.

Below is a brief overview of both competitions – follow each link to find out more!

Mountainwatcher’s

Are you a budding filmmaker and also pretty handy on a pair of skis or snowboard? Do you live for the mountains, their generous offerings and snow in general? Want to get paid to ride and film the proverbial ‘Japow’?

Look no further… than our Mountainwatchers Short Film Contest.

We at Mountainwatch want to see your very best snow films. Show us what you see when you look up at the mountain(s) through those tight, tinted ski goggles we all have to wear. We don’t mind whether it’s shot in Australia or overseas this season, we just want to see it!

Find out how to enter, what the massive prize is, and check out some examples of the quality we’re after by following the link below!

#Mountainwatchthis

To complement our ‘Mountainwatchers’ Short Film Competition, we’re introducing a Mountainwatch ‘clip of the week’ competition to run for the duration of the Australian ski season – Since there’s no such thing as too much snow, there’s no such thing as too much snow footage.

Think: dumping snowfall videos, double ejections and GoPro hero footage…

So what are you waiting for? Get filming folks.
