Founder of Liberty Skis Dan Chalfant explains, “We are super excited to work with Boen, he is one of Australia’s most talented and visible free skiers and shares our same passion for the sport. To have one of the best free skiers in Australia attracted to the performance and quality of Liberty Skis in our first year down under is a powerful endorsement for our skis.”

Boen states, “I am really excited to join the Liberty team, their progressive and innovative designs and focus on quality is redefining what is possible with an all mountain ski. The bamboo core is super strong, super light and incredibly responsive and stable under foot, why wouldn’t you want to ski Liberty?”

Race trained until he was 14 years of age, Boen switched his focus to freeskiing, winning an array of top-level Australian competitions. In 2009, Boen took out the National Half Pipe Championships, Rip Curl Freeride Pro Series and King of the Mountain events amongst others. This year he has already taken out the first event of the season in the Thredbo Free Ride Series.

Boen joins the godfather of Australian freeskiing Andrea Berchtold and big mountain skier Simon Dawes Blondel on the talented Liberty Skis team, now boasting both the pioneer and forefront of the next generation in the Australian free skiing scene.
