Lake Louise Inn
As far as accommodations go, it's pretty standard lodging. The rooms are fairly average and the TV barely qualifies as a computer monitor. However, with several dining options, pool and hot tubs on site, there really isn't much to complain about... After all, if you're planning on staying in your room the whole time, there are better travel destinations. Speaking of travel destinations, you pretty much come here to explore the outdoors and being located in the village and (figuratively) and stone's throw away from Lake Louise rounds out the experience neatly for a 5 star review from me.
I didn’t know what to expect but this is such a lovely place to stay. We had booked a standard room and were given a complimentary upgrade upon checking in. The room was incredible! Two queen beds and a beautiful bathroom. We visited lake Louise and it’s very easy to get there! Just a few minutes on the bus for $2 each way. The bus stop is a very short walk from the inn. Once back for the evening, we had dinner at the Timberwolf Italian restaurant within the inn and the food did not disappoint either! Great service from Morgan, and delicious food and cocktails for a fair price! I had an excellent night sleep and considering it was so cold outside the room was perfectly warm. I would 100% recommended this place to stay. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. Even though it was just 1 night, it was a great stay.
Best place to stay if you plan on doing anything in Lake Louise (especially hitting up the mountain). Comfortable beds, clean rooms, and a great breakfast. Finish off the evening with a pint in the bar and a dip in the hot tub and your all set for a great evening!
Good central location, 3.5 km from Lake Louise. Guest rooms are comfortable and well appointed with a small kitchen and basic cooking pots and utensils. Pool and hot tub areas are clean and well maintained. The food..... Not overly priced considering it's a tourist resort in high season, but bordering on mediocre and lacking inspiration.
Stayed here last night, received the worst service I've ever had. Hidden fees, my quoted total went up over $100 after we got there. The restuarant staff in the Pizza & Pasta place were rude. Never checked on us after we got our food, never asked us if we needed more drinks, I had to grab my own cutlery and go directly to the server to ask for a box for my food. The rooms with two beds we so tiny, looked like a hole in the wall. Toilet was in the middle of the bathroom between the sink and tub. All in all, not worth the $400 we spent. Again the WORST Guest Service especially in the upstairs restaurant. We expected so much more being as it's a hotel in the famous Lake Louise area. Another issue, our towels were stained as well as there was old dried blood stains on the sheets under the comforter.
