REVIEWS

The Shakespeare Hotel

Warm and comfortable room. Well set out for tired snowboarders and skiers. It has a drying room for wet and cold gear, that can be locked. There is a laundry with 1 washing machine and dryer, these can be used for a small cost. Detergent is available from the front desk. There is a microwave as well. This room is also where you leave your returning hire gear, to be picked up by the rental shops. It is close to many resturants as well as base camp bus stop.
We had a wonderful stay at The Shakespeare Hotel, all the staff we talked to was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is central located in Echoland Hakuba with many restaurants just a few minutes walk. Also only 1-2 min walk from Hakuba Base Camp where there free shuttle busses to all the ski resorts.
The hotel has a self service laundromat and clothes dries within a day if you hang your clothing in the dry room for skies. They even let us stay 2 hours longer in our room after check out. We will for sure stay here again if we come to Hakuba again.
Great little hotel at the heart of Echoland. The team were great pre/on/during our stay, sorting everything from lift passes, rental gear and helping reserve tables for dinner (a must during peak times). The hotel is quaint, it doesn't try too hard and does everything it needs to do well for visiting skiers and snowboarders during winter months. The rooms are all of a good size, especially compared to those around the country. Good storage for ski gear, yoga on offer for those that want to stretch it out. The Globe bar just on the entrance to the hotel is great and always lovely.

Would love to come back here again.
