Countdown to Winter | Snow Update

More snow is expected before the weekend and Falls Creek is the second resort to get snowmaking underway, seems this is more than a flash snowfall… could winter be well and truly here?

Here’s the latest snow totals (remember snow reporting hasn’t officially started at most resorts, or here at Mountainwatch, yet so these are just the word on the street measurements):

Thredbo: 21cm
Perisher: 20cm
Selwyn: 15cm
Mt Buller: 17cm
Falls Creek: 15cm
Hotham: 15cm

There should be about 5cm – 10cm of new snow before Sunday in most of the resorts…
