ON THE GROUND REPORT

Aug 11 2020 06:46 AM: Tuesday, August 11, 6.30am: It is clear and cold with a sunny morning ahead with increasing cloud expected this afternoon, the temp currently -8 in the village. The wind is light with northwest winds at 15-25km/hr forecast throughout the day and there is a good hard-packed cover across the resort that will soften later. The snow is firm off piste but the groomed runs are in great shape for some turns on the corduroy this morning Exhibition, Equaliser and Lenny's Leap among the picks. A weak cold front will bring cloud and showers tomorrow, falling as snow above 1700 metres with snow showers continuing into the weekend. Get out there early, make the most of today's fine weather and have a great day.
