ON THE GROUND REPORT

Sep 16 2019 06:42 AM: Monday September 16: There were some showers overnight and it is cloudy this morning and more showers are expected later today. It is a mild +6 degrees in the village and +2 up the top where WNW winds at 45-65km/hr are forecast, before they swing to the south and ease ain the the afternoon. The snow is a soft cover of rain-affected snow, but the groomed runs are in good shape and will be fun first thing. There is a band of moisture on the radar and it is heading our way, but hopefully we'll get in a few hours of dry skiing before the rain hits later this morning. A cold front is on the way with the temps dropping significantly when it hits, the rain turning snow later today. Check out today's forecast from the Grasshopper for the latest details and have a great day.
