Sep 16 2019 06:35 AM: Monday, September 16: There was some rain overnight and it is partly cloudy this morning with the cloud expected to increase with showers again later this morning. It is a pretty mild morning, the temp currently +5.6 in Perisher Valley and +2.8 at the top of Mount Perisher with WNW winds at 45-65km/hr forecast throughout the day and is there are stronger gusts we may see some wind-hold. The snow is soft, but the groomed runs will be fun with a top layer of firmish, rain affected snow with Towers, Vista, Karls and Zali's among the picks. The radar is showing a band of moisture heading our way but hopefully it'll be a few more hours before the rain hits. The forecast is for a cold front this afternoon, the temps dropping as the wind swings to the south with snow down to 1000 metres. Check out today's forecast from the Grasshopper for the latest details. Hopefully we won't get too much rain before it turns to snow and we'll have a decent little top up by tomorrow morning. Have a good day. - Reggae
