ON THE GROUND REPORT
Jun 18 2026 06:33 AM: ____________Cloudy with a few clear breaks this morning and another mild start to the day, currently +5.7 at the base in Perisher and +4.2 at the top, the forecast is for gusty and warm NW winds at 45-65km/hr around the peaks, strengthening to 80ks in the afternoon.__________ Nothing much to report, just the beginners conveyor belt on Front Valley open on a limited cover and a hike park that is getting smaller by the day.________ It will get wet later with rain developing this afternoon and continuing tomorrow with colder temps tomorrow afternoon delivering some snow above 1700m with snow showers continuing on Saturday. ___________ It's not a season starter, but we cut get 10+cms and it will be good to see an end to this current warm northerly pattern and colder temps behind the front should allow the snowmakers to get back on the job. Hopefully they'll get a good run next week and we'll see more terrain open soon. Have a good day. - Reggae
