Sep 20 2020 06:54 AM: Sunday, September 20, 6.30am: Not the most pleasant morning, wet and windy with showers expected all day and northerly winds up high at 25-40km/hr and it is +6.9 at the base in Perisher and +5 at the top of Mount Perisher. Blue Cow is now closed and16 lifts will open today in Perisher, accessing a soft cover of snow, best on the groomed runs with Towers, Snowy Trails and Front Valley the picks. The snow melt will continue today and showers are forecast again tomorrow afternoon, but things cool down on Tuesday with snow showers in the forecast through to the weekend and at this stage a stronger front on Friday could deliver some good totals for one last hurrah. In the mean time, today is for the very keen and if you're heading out there, pack some extra gloves as you're going to get wet. Have a good day. - Reggae
