ON THE GROUND REPORT

Mar 14 2022 07:53 AM: Hakuba ski resorts are now in a spring diurnal phase of the season, meaning a freeze/thaw cycle of snow conditions. Expect crust /icier snow on higher shaded slopes until the sun and warm air softens up the snow. Lower slopes and sun affected slopes will have corn snow and more slushy conditions as the spring ski season progresses. Watch out for buried hazards, trees and cracks/holes as the snowpack melts. Enjoy the rest of the long ski season (until early May) as this will be the last snow report of 2021-2022. See you next year!

This snow report is brought to you by Hakuba Ski Concierge the valley's first and only ski school to exclusively provide private ski and snowboard lessons and resort guiding services. With private transportation for every guest, full time flexibility, assistance with local services and lift line priority at Hakuba47 Winter Sports Park - they customise every day to your needs and interests. As experienced industry professionals with deep roots in Hakuba, they guarantee excellence on and off the slopes.
