We love a good transformation in the mountains, and last week certainly was that. While we had a good start with snow on the ground from opening, the big dump came hard and fast last week and really delivered some primo mid winter type snow and sliding.

Falls got plenty of the white stuff, with that more lifts and runs opened and our local photographer, Chris Hocking and his new side kick Chris Myers were out to capture the best of it.

From crew getting in touch with their inner child playing in the snow, to classic ski shots that we know you love to see and aspire to.

We hope theres plenty more where this came from throughout the season, however for June, I’m sure you will all agree, this is pretty darn good stuff.

Ailan Dowler gets amongst the blizzard conditions at Falls Creek today as an Antarctic blast sweeps the state. It’s set to bring snow to elevations as low as 500m and a dump of snow to the Alps just in time for Saturday’s opening. Falls creek is expected to have is best start to a season in over a decade.
