In perhaps the most aesthetically pleasing manner possible, Niseko has made the transition from the green, brown and reds of Autumn, into a cold crisp reality – fresh snow. While locals in Niseko were treated to early pow last week, warm temps and rain unceremoniously washed it away. This new snow heralds the impending powder days of Winter 13/14 in Japan and this time, it ought to stick around.
Our sources on the ground tell us that the snow is still a little wet, but as temperatures begin to drop, the pow will arrive… It always does.
