Today, Australian snowboarding joins the rest of the global shred community in paying homage to the life of the legendary Noah Salasnek after battling with Cancer for over 12 months.
Anyone who’s primed in the history of our sport needs no further introduction to the man who is indisputably the catalyst that introduced skateboarding style to snowboarding during the 90s. Whether it was the tweaks or tricks, his clothing or his signature Sims boards, Noah’s presence in snowboarding is unmatched. It saddens us to know that this humble, working-class legend is no longer with us. However, his influence and outlook will remain with snowboarding for eternity. Rest in peace Noah.
