The online media and every social network known to mankind has been awash with claims about the Sochi Slopestyle Course. Too big, too dangerous, perfect flow. Opinion is polarised.
Not only has the course led to all kinds of controversy related to its size, it has also now claimed two of the biggest names in Snowboard Slopestyle – first Torstein Horgmo thanks to a broken collarbone, and now Shaun White has announced that he will be withdrawing from the event.
