Thredbo Releases On-Sale Dates and Pricing 2021 Season and Day Passes

Thredbo announced its 2021 winter offering today, including the return of season passes, Thredboland (the kids ski school program), group lessons and seasonal snowsports programs.
It marks a step back to normal operations for the resort after 2020 was impacted by a strict Covid-safe operating plan. Last year Thredbo operated at a guideline of 50% capacity and it will be operating under Covid-19 restrictions again in 2021, although at this stage no capacity percentage or restrictions on numbers has been announced.
Given the easing of restrictions in NSW today, which includes allowing 100% capacity at stadiums and theatres, you’d hope the NSW resorts will have no on-mountain capacity restrictions by the time the season kicks off in June. However, as we all know, things can change very quickly and a restriction on numbers permitted on the mountain is a real possibility
“We anticipate we will be operating under certain COVID-19 restrictions and expect demand to be high,” Stuart Diver, Thredbo General manager said. “We apologise to those whose preferred dates or experiences sell out as a result of demand and capacity limits. We encourage guests to plan their visits early, book in advance and be flexible with travel dates to avoid disappointment – particularly families and larger groups.”
Thredbo has announced a “limited number” of season passes will be on sale from March 31. Day passes, lessons and rentals will have a staggered release, based on intended travel dates.
For the first time Thredbo has three different types of season passes available:
Premium Season Pass – adults $1649; kids from $999,
Value Season Pass (excludes 26 June – 11 July school holidays) – $1479 for adults, from $899 for kids
Mid-week Value Season Pass (excludes June 26 – July 11 school holidays and weekend) $1319 for adults and $799 for kids.
Day passes are $169 for adults, up $10 from last year, and $89 for kids.
