Valentino Guseli has emerged as one of the world’s best snowboarders over the past few years, the 20-year-old Australian making his Winter Olympics debut in halfpipe at the Beijing games in 2022 where he finished in 6th place. Val had a big season in 2023/24 with a win in both Big Air and Slopetyle World Cups and won the overall Snowboard Park and Pipe Crystal Globe as the number one rider.

However, a knee injury during training for last season’s first World Cup event in Beijing saw Val miss the entire 2024/25 tour. He was back on snow in July, training in Perisher, his aim now to qualify for the Olympics in both halfpipe and park events.
