Video – The Unique Story Behind Oyuki Apparel in Niseko

Shot amid the powdery haven that Japanese brand Oyuki, calls home, this video is a homage to Niseko’s unique, pristine and sometimes unruly winter environment. The edit was filmed and directed by Knack Studios’ Director of Photography Rob Norman, who is renowned for his work with a range of high profile action sports brands including Red Bull, Roxy, Rip Curl and Vans. The story follows five of Oyuki’s Ambassadors, Kazu Takada, Snowy McMahon, Matt Hampton, Justin “Grover” Graves and Conrad Mitchell. It emphasises that riding in Niseko is just as much about mateship, mindfulness and appreciating the beauty of your surroundings as it is about the powder.
