WIN – Active Kids Books Giveaway

Chad Kolcze, self-confessed passionate action sports enthusiast, and author of children’s book series Active Kids Books recently skateboarded from Parliament House, Canberra, all the way to Thredbo in the push to raise awareness about childhood obesity and lowered literacy in boys. The skate is part of the Life’s Awesome Campaign and finished up last week in Thredbo to a very warm welcome.

Chad employed 5 different skateboards over the monumental trip and made the 300 km journey in 6 days battling dehydration, severe winds, gravel rash and traffic the whole way! When asked about the trip, “Rad Dad” Chad said, “We are aiming to inspire kids to dream big and live a healthy active lifestyle through positive ‘roll’ modelling. Expressing the positive side of life and walking the talk for kids health was what ‘Life’s Awesome’ campaign was all about.”
