Gear Guide – The Slopes App Tracks All Your Mountain Stats

Mountainwatch | Gear Guide
If you like to keep a record of your stats when skiing or snowboarding, the Slopes App is the perfect app to track your data. Available for both IOS and Android, Slopes has extensive range of features that give you a breakdown of each run including top and average speed, vertical, distance and more.
It is simple to use, just hit the record button at the start of your day, leave your phone in your pocket and away you go. The app records all your runs, time on lifts, and is even smart enough to notice when you’re standing in lift lines. All while minimising the drain on your battery.

Slopes has its own resort data and content for over 2000 resorts world-wide with trail maps, resorts stats and the contact number for ski patrol. An interactive map also gives you a full replay of each run and it automatically identifies lift names in major resorts.
Bragging rights with friends is a big part of skiing and snowboarding and if you like a bit of friendly competition you can add your friends and compete on a leader board throughout the season.
To complete the picture Slopes also offers real-time conditions reports based on user’s rating. It averages all conditions reported during the day by the riders and surfaces it to help others know what to expect in the upcoming days. There are widgets available for the home screen, where you can see at a glance current conditions at your favourite resort
