Mt Currie lies just outside the town of Pemberton in British Columbia, the mountain’s north face the dominant view from town. In the latest instalment of The Fifty, Cody Townsend takes on the 7000ft face where he is joined by Jon Johnston and Chris Ruben. In an episode that Cody describes as “the most in-depth and behind the scenes” one of the series so far, the crew complete an exhausting day-long quest that starts and finishes in the dark. The climb and descent are not simple, the conditions demanding some careful decision-making in regard to which route to take.
