CONTEST Design Your Own Dragon APX Goggles
Dragon / Transfer Design Contest
Dragon is partnering with Transfer Snowboard Magazine for the Down Under addition of the Dragon goggle design contest – throwing it out there to you, the Aussie and Kiwi riders, to design your own version of Dragon’s brand spanking top end goggle, the APX.
The winner will see their designs become reality with a few pairs of the APXs heading their way… PLUS the winning design may even go into production for the 2012 winter range.
The concept comes off the back of the hugely successful Dragon goggle contest, now entering its fourth year in the northern hemisphere, including Europe, USA and Canada.
Check out one of the winners from 2011, Christie Shinn, who will see her design for the Rogue goggle become part of Dragon’s 2012 production run – which is why you can only see this teaser image, the full design is under wraps until the goggle comes out
How to enter
1. Download template and design
Use the APX design template (download below) to style up the APX how you’d like to see it. You must use the Dragon and Transfer logos (download below), but otherwise it’s free reign to do want you want.
2. Upload
(Deadline: Midnight March 1st, 2012 AEST)
Are you ready to show those northerners we know how to design down under? Once you’ve created your masterpiece on the APX template – don’t forget to include the Transfer and Dragon logos.
Email your entry to us here. Subject: Dragon competition
(If it’s over a couple of megabytes please save as a jpeg and attach that to your submission.)
As we receive entries we will upload the designs to the home page of transfersnowboard.com for everyone to view.
Then Transfer Snowboard Magazine staff and the design team over at Dragon will judge all entries, choosing a winner. The creator of our favourite goggle art will be announced on our website and the winner and will receive 3 pairs of their self-designed goggles once they have been produced.
