VIDEO STEVE LEE REVIEWS – Park Skis
Equipment Reviews | Steve Lee
The park ski game is really one for the youngsters, very dynamic, an uber cool look and gear to match is a must with a style all there own. However at the end of the day a park ski requires ultra high performance that’s very specific to the task at hand.
As my days of going upside down, backwards and inside out are pretty much done I have enlisted the help of my young house mate here at Falls, Joden Cook. Joden went to Falls primary school, grew up with and is one of my daughter Layla’s best mates. He lives eats, breaths and rips at park riding. So a perfect subject to discuss the in’s and out’s of park skis.
We shot a cool video in the Ruined Castle park at Falls using lots of the super slow mo feature on my camera. While the vision is just a little grainy, the ability so see what the naked eye misses, specifically just how much the gear gets worked is phenomenal.
Every brand out there makes a park ski, some put a lot more effort into it than others, so I’m not going to preach about brands, just lay out a list that will head you in the right direction. I think most kids will go with the brand and model their favourite freeride/park skier uses, and that gets my vote.
Cheers.
