Introducing our new magazine – well it’s kind of a new magazine – a new format at least… Transfer Snowboard magazine’s first iPad app edition is now out and on sale from the App store on iTunes.
The first iPad app edition is Issue #7 and it’s packed full of interactive features including video, audio and animation that bring the magazine to life like never before.
Transfer (for iPad)is a rich multimedia entertainment experience and includes the best quality snowboarding from down under that Transfer is renowned for. In a harmony of One’s and Zero’s the iPad edition will literally transform the way you enjoy snowboarding. It’s already transformed ours – I’m not even joking – we’ve had the thing completed for about a month or so and I still find myself playing with this iPad version of Transfer like a fat kid with a new packet of smarties.
Whether this format of “magazine” and the iPad will take off in the future like colour TV or the internet itself, is unknown, but with 5 million tablet devices set to be online in Australia & NZ in the near future and the purely addictive and engaging format sure to stoke out even the most hardcore shredders, we are sure you will enjoy it – it’s one of the most fun things we’ve done in a while.
Transfer, as always, continues to bring you the best of snowboarding from down under documenting monumental moments in our culture and continuing your stoke to shred. And as the iPad version shows, we’ll get that stoke to you no matter how we we do it, be it Print magazine – online video clips, Books, movies or iPad, we’ll get it there. So do yourself a favour and go check it out for yourself – I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Issue 7 (iPad edition) is on sale now from the App store for $4.49AUD.
Stay tuned for the Photo Book Annual (issue #8) – also out on the iPad very soon.
