DEW VIDEO BATTLE – Teams Hard At Work Filming
Teams in this year’s Dew Video Battle are hard at work putting their edits together for the July 25 deadline. There is a buzz around the snow towns as teams jostle for the best filming opportunities. The only problem is that they are all being so secretive about their plans that you’ll have to read between the lines to work out who is doing what!
The one good thing is the amount of snow that we have had early season here in Australia (and some in NZ) the teams have had the best chance to get out in the backcountry and into the streets of resorts to log some awesome footage. As well as the riders, this is a chance for the best filmers in Australian snowboarding to strut their stuff in front of the whole community. One guy who is relishing that opportunity is Jeremy from Olliepop Films who is responsible for the all-star DC team edit.
When I asked Tom Pelley what he and Quiksilver team member Jason Maxfield had been up to, he sent me this photo… Photo Mic Simpson.

Team fyve have been filming with their riders, Greg Murray and Steve Parsons.
After seasons in North America with big film production crews, Ryan Tiene is enjoying the slightly more relaxed vibe of filming for the Dew Video Battle.
The only shot that we can confirm at this stage. Ryan Tiene. Miller Flip. Thredbo.
