While most powder edits take weeks if not an entire season to film, before enough pow days have accumulated, Niseko in Japan is another story entirely…

Filmed on a single day – it was a Thursday, as the title suggests – this edit from Evan Wilcox is by his own admission, “why I live in Niseko.”

“The 1st of February, 2018. It had been snowing hard in Niseko for 13 consecutive days. This was the first day to see the sun after the huge storm, and we decided to hike and ride one of our favorite backcountry areas. Perfect bottomless powder, sinking to my shoulders and still gliding through effortlessly.” – Evan

Film: Charlie Wood
