The last two weeks of September have seen some classic spring conditions in the Australian resorts and Mount Hotham has enjoyed its fair share. Aside from the rain on September 21, the spring weather has been good with sunny days and cold nights setting up a good run of fun spring skiing. There was even a well-timed top up on September 22.

For our Hotham snow reporter Bill Barker, the daily reports could have been on replay, his report on Sept 25 summing up the past couple of weeks nicely: “The snow has had a nice solid freeze overnight and will soften for really good spring snow turns as the day warms.  Should be more of the same tomorrow, and plenty more of these coming up in the next week or so.  Enjoy. Cheers, Bill.”
