While we all know it was a tough season in Australia this winter, it did have its moments. For Hotham photographer Chris Hocking living in the mountains is about more than just skiing and snowboarding, it’s also about the beauty of the mountains and the people who choose to make their life there.  Here are a few of Chris’ favourite images from winter 2026.
