Snow Alert – Utah Off to a Good Start

There’s snow currently falling all around the globe but our eyes are peeled on the epic dry snow heading straight for Utah!
This week Utah is forecast to receive around 12-16 inches of fresh giving all skiers and boarders endless powder to enjoy heading in the New Year.
This snow storm is the offshoot of a huge low pressure system and trough over the Pacific Northwest. This system is hitting the Sierra Nevada region hard and then funnelling its powder leftovers to Utah.
The resorts that are forecast to receive the heaviest amounts of snowfall at this stage are in northern Utah such as Snowbasin but there is enough snow forecast to fall this week that any resort will have prime powder skiing and boarding conditions.
