Hype Builds for Tight Lines 2016 With Announcement of 12 Invited Riders

Back for its second year, Burton and Transfer are pleased to present Tight Lines – an online video snowboarding competition presented in conjunction with Thredbo.
Tight Lines is an invite-only online video competition, which offers twelve of Australia’s best riders one day each to film their perfect non-stop park lap for a share of $5,000 in prizes.
Each invited rider will have one day to plan out and film their best run in the Anton’s Park at Thredbo. Once all runs are filmed, each rider’s tightest line will be available to view on mountainwatch.com/TightLines and every rider will be eligible for two awards: The People’s Choice and The Tightest Line Industry Award, each worth $2,500 cash.
The People’s Choice Award allows the general public to vote for their favourite run, with the line with the highest number of votes earning the People’s Choice title and a $2,500 pay cheque.
The Tightest Line Industry Award is also worth $2,500 and will be judged by four industry experts from Burton Snowboards, Thredbo, Transfer Magazine and Mountainwatch.
One rider is eligible to win both awards.

Voting commences at mountainwatch.com/TightLines on Monday, September 5 and will remain open until Thursday September 15. Winners will be announced on Saturday, September 17th at the Thredbo Alpine Hotel.
