17 – 19 July, 2010 – Fresh Snow at Buller

On the weekend Mt Buller was blessed with the presence of our very own Shred Princess, Anna Segal. She was up there tearing apart the park with all of her other Chicks with Stix. Chicks with Stix has been envisioned to infect passion in, and provide the opportunity and encouragement for, more young girls (aka chicks) to take up the challenge and get involved in competitive freestyle skiing – bumps, freeride and big mountain.

Then on sunday night as the Victorian school holidays finished it dumped all night and made for some splendid fresh turns. Buller hasn’t had the greatest base of natural snow so this dump provided the top-up that we needed. Continuing with the Chick theme on Monday I was accompanied by Ashlen Francisco’s and Nat Segal’s ripping turns, terrain worth taking a photo of, fresh snow and sun.
