11-year-old Valentino Guseli has just taken second place in today’s Halfpipe event at the US Open junior Jam, joining the ranks of countryman Scotty James as they continue their campaign for global domination

2017 has already solidified itself as a major catalyst in Australian Snowboarding, with both Scotty and Valentino well and truly making their presence felt on an international stage. Backing up Scotty’s back-to-back wins at this year’s X-Games and World Cup, Valentino has just put down a killer run at the most prestigious competition in the history of Snowboarding – Burton US Open, finishing up after Joonsik Lee (1st) and above Kolman Lecroy (3rd). We’d already had our money on Val dominating the junior scene this year, this kid is making major gains and his placing at the US Open further consolidates this. The proof is in the pudding, just watch some excerpts from his run below…

Fast forward to 00:41 for glimpses of Val dominating.
