Volkl, Marker and Dalbello Australia, alongside Niseko Photography are excited to present the premiere of ‘PURE’, an all-female freeski film in Australia this Friday night. In this 52-minute film, an exceptional group of female skiers take viewers on a journey of unspoilt adventures, incredible heights and unforgettable ski lines, which will boost your urge to get into the mountains and feel alive.
Directed and edited by Mario Feil, this is the second Shades of Winter film from Austrian freeskier and producer: Sandra Lahnsteiner – co-produced by Red Bull Media House and in association with Beech Studios.

PURE explores the unique moments we experience while skiing: pure happiness, solitude, independence, fear and freedom. While these moments may seem ordinary to an outsider, they are truly magical when we experience them first hand. Experiencing these moments only fuels our desire to chase our dreams without hesitation, with the curiosity of a child, solely driven by the need to capture the pure feeling of living in the moment. The film follows a strong cast of female athletes who are driven by a constant search for the pure bliss that these special moments bring.
Shot on location in Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Canada, USA and Japan this film features our very own Australian athlete Nat Segal amongst some of the best female freeskiers in the world including: Matilda Rapaport (SWE), Evelina Nilsson (SWE), Melissa Presslaber (AUT), Nadia Samer (CAN), Janina Kuzma (NZL), Nat Segal (AUS), Emma Dahlström (SWE), Silvia Bertagna (ITA), Camillia Berra (SUI), Nadine Wallner (AUT), Caja Schöpf (GER), the Nine Queens 2014 and Sandra Lahnsteiner (AUT).
Please and join us on November 20th in Melbourne at the National Hotel, Richmond and November 21st in Sydney at the Hotel Steyne, Manly for the only two screenings of PURE in Australia. The event will be hosted by Nat Segal, with door prizes from Volkl, Marker and Dalbello as well as Niseko Photography. Entry is free.
