Deviate – A New Film from Jossi Wells and Torin Yater-Wallace

Released this week, Deviate is a collaboration between freeskiers Jossi Wells and Torin Yater-Wallace and produced with Teton Gravity Research. Having made their names in the park and pipe, the two X Games champs were coming back from major injuries when they got together and headed into a variety of backcountry locations around the world to film Deviate.

Jossi and Torin have called on some of their mates to join them along the way and the film also features Bobby Brown, McRae Williams and Jossi’s brothers Beau-James and Byron. From ridiculously deep powder in Hokkaido to backcountry booters in Montana, and some serious big mountain lines in the Wanaka backcountry, Deviate is a showcase of backcountry freeskiing. Definitely a film you do not want to miss.
