Gear Guide – Nitro Wood Carver, Snowboard Video Review

March 26th, 2021

Mountainwatch | Joe Stanco

Last season our snowboard guru Joey Stanco checked out the Nitro’s 2021 range, riding Thredbo in  variety of conditions on a variety of boards. In this review Joey checks out the Wood Carver, a board Nitro describes as the snowboard for people who “want to be able to enjoy turns more, without sacrificing the ability to slash and float through pow…”

For Joey the Wood Carver is one of his favourites in the Nitro fleet and he rates it at 10/10.

“It’s a really fun board to ride, nice and snappy, nice and responsive … It’s for someone who wants a directional board, a board that carves really well. ” Joey said. “And is versatile -it’s also great in powder and slush.”
