Hors Piste – A Very Funny Animated Short Film of a Ski Rescue Mission That Does Not Go To Plan

This animated short film from students at Ecol des Nouvelles Images, an animation and computer graphics school in France, has won 46 awards at various festivals, including a BAFTA for best student film. The film tells the story of a two-man mountain rescue team and their attempt to rescue an injured skier from the top of a steep vertical peak in the Alps. The rescue doesn’t go to plan with a series of different and very funny scenarios playing out over six-minutes of creative animation.

Hors Piste is live for a month only and if you are up for a bit of animated comedy, it is definitely worth checking out out.
