January 25 Teton Village, WY: Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) sends its thoughts and support to our Australian friends and guests impacted by devastating wild fires. Recognizing the need for financial support and global awareness surrounding the recent wildfire crisis, and with a shared spirit and connection valuing our precious surrounding ecosystem and abundant wildlife, Jackson Hole is committed to help. A GOFUNDME has been established to help the koala bears and native Australian wildlife.  JHMR will make a $10,000 donation to the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital and we invite our local, regional, destination and international friends to do the same. “Australians have been coming to Jackson for years and we have a close connection with this key destination visitor; we deeply empathize with what the country is going through as these destructive fires impact people and wildlife,” stated JHMR Vice President of Brand Tyler LaMotte.  “On Australia Day we have our Australian friends in our thoughts, and are happy that we can make a contribution to the relief efforts,” LaMotte went on to note.

JHMR invites all friends of Australia to join them for an Australia Day celebration this Sunday, January 26, 2020, from 4-6pm in the Events Tent.  We are with you Australia, stay strong and click here to donate:
