The final event of the 2022 Freeride World Tour is on this weekend in Verbier and after two wins and a second, Kiwi skier Jess Hotter has a hold of the yellow leader’s bib and is leading the chase for the 2022 women’s ski  World Title.

After a crash in the first event of the season in Spain saw her finish in 10th place, Jess bounced back quickly, winning the next event and thanks to her aggressive skiing and consistent form, is the standout performer this year.

Still there’s one event to go and in the week leading up to the Verbier event, Jess is not getting ahead of herself,  but either way 2022 has been a stellar season
