Michelle Parker’s Originate, Season 2, Episode 4 – Behind the Scenes of the Ski Film Fire on the Mountain

In this episode of Michelle Parker’s series Originate, Michelle heads to Mammoth Mountain to work with pro skier and artist Chris Benchetler on his ambitious film, Fire On The Mountain.

Michelle connects with an all-star crew of Benchetler, Kimmy Fasani, Danny Davis, Jeremy Jones and pro surfer Rob Machado to bring Benchetler’s vision of Fire on the Mountain to life: a night shoot inspired by and produced in partnership with legendary US band the Grateful Dead.

It is a creative but tough shoot, and Benchetler’s desire to time it with a snow storm  presents many challenges. However it is worth it, the shoot producing some amazing images and the result is something special.

 Fire on the Mountain, drops this Friday, December 13.
