Moonbah and Back – Video. Cameron Waddell and Friends Sending it in Perisher’s Park

This recently released video features Australia’s number one slopestyle skier and Jindabyne local Cameron Waddell along with his World Cup team mate Bailey Johnson and Australian skiing’s king of steeze, Martin Longhitano.

Filmed by Ryan Cafferkey in Perisher last season, Moonbah and Back (the title comes from the where Cam grew up) has a cruisy vibe that captures the crews’ progressive skiing and also the fun and energy of Perisher’s Front Valley park.

Another thing that the film shows is that while these guys ski and compete at international level, they still love skiing, especially at their home mountain. They milked last season until well after the lifts stopped spinning, the final segment filmed in late October as Cameron and Martin get creative with some unnatural features in the spring slush.

It’s great to see an edit featuring Australian skiers doing what they do best and having a good time along the way. After all, that’s what skiing is all about.
